This looks really interesting: Herdict Web seems to be a great tool for collecting data on Internet censorship. This must be useful for Internet users in Burma.
Quoting the operators:
“Have you ever come across a web site that you could not access and wondered, “Am I the only one?” Herdict Web aggregates reports of inaccessible sites, allowing users to compare data to see if inaccessibility is a shared problem. By crowdsourcing data from around the world, we can document accessibility for any web site, anywhere.”
I assume these guys there have a solution to the question how people will report a blocked site if Herdict Web is inaccessible as well. They seem to offer some browser plug-in, maybe that does the trick.
